KY Saves 529

KY Saves 529 (formally the Kentucky Education Savings Plan Trust) helps families save for a relative's education. Deposits can be as small as $1 if made through payroll deduction. The KY Saves 529 plan offers investment options designed to help families meet future education costs, including K-12 tuition. Account earnings are exempt from Kentucky taxes, and any withdrawal used for qualified education expenses are free from federal income taxes as well. Account savings can be used for any qualified expense (see program description for details).
